I've been teaching and sharing ideas with students ever since I was in high school. I enjoy sharing the knowledge I've procured over the years, so teaching to me is also re-learning. Always searching for the best way to explain something to a student and possibly remembering how I was taught a particular thing.

I like to help a student think and divide their brains and limbs. Physically speaking, that's what the mechanics of drumming are. Aesthetically and emotionally speaking, drumming is also about style and feel. Like any other instrument it also takes experience. My teaching is somewhat conceptual, but my concepts and experience are easy for the student to grasp and apply to any level that they might be at.

I accept students of all levels interested in learning and developing time, reading, rudiments, coordination, syncopation, listening. styles, practice concepts, odd-time signatures and musicality.
